Small Animals

Small animals are served on an appointment basis at the clinic in Gowrie, 1021 Market Street.

General well-health, vaccinations, new pet wellness checks, general surgery, health certificates for regional/interstate/internations travel, and acupuncture are offered.

After hours emergency services, as well as basic triage before referral to larger hospitals is offered.

Small animal appointments, as well as surgery, are offered Monday-Thursday. Saturday appointments are generally reserved for wellness checks and vaccinations only.

Large Animals

Towne Veterinary Clinic works with "Large Animals" such as cattle, sheep, and swine (production medicine).

Cow/calf, backgrounder, feeder calf producers, heifer replacements receive consultation as requested, emergency obstetrical, greentag processing calves, and postmortem analysis of all ages.

Swine (feeder pigs, farrowing, and replacement production) receive consultation as requested, emergency obstetrical, feeder pig processing, and postmortem analysis of all ages.


Acupuncture is a general term for using long-standing techniques of diagnosis, treatment, and therapy using diagnostic techniques that include detailed history-taking, pulse analysis, constitutional analysis, and rigorous physical exams through 5 element, and 12 Channel, systems.
